Everybody knows water is a life
sustaining element, and yet we overlook its importance. Thomas J Salzano, a New
Jersey based hairstylist, traveler, photographer and blogger says dehydration
is especially important while trekking.
He says just water won’t be
enough, because sweating and demanding course of trek needs more than just
water, you need to replenish your minerals too.
Salzano suggests drinking half a
liter of water when you wake up. Drink another half-liter within the next hour.
As you start trekking, keep taking a sip or two every once in a while. Once
your day is done, drink a glassful of water with a sachet of electrolyte
powder.
